Photos from LeConte Lodge
Summer 1969
These photos were provided by my brother, John. We put simple captions

During the time that Joe and John Schlatter worked at the Lodge -- the 1960's
-- the Lodge was owned by Herrick and Myrtle Brown, who purchased it from the
original owner and builder, Jack Huff. Here are some photos of the Brown
family. Herrick and Myrtle had three children -- Carolyn, Glenn, and
Barbara. Barbara was born in late 1962 and first came up the mountain as
an infant in the summer of 1963.

Carolyn, a teenager spent a lot of time this summer on the
phone to her friends in Gatlinburg.
